Bowers School Farm Winter Park is a working farm operated by Bloomfield Hills Schools, and its tubing area has four synthetic lanes lit with LED light arcs. Because the surface is synthetic, it does not need natural snow, and hay bales divide the lanes. Entry to the farm is free, with bonfires, farm animals and food available.
Sessions are the constraint. Tubing is $17 per person plus a processing fee for a 50-minute session that begins on the hour, and the official page says it is usually sold out, so buy online in advance. The 2026 season ran January 9 through March 8, with Friday 4 to 10 PM and weekend 2 to 9 PM hours in our record. Refunds and exchanges are not allowed, and the park tubes in any weather.
Requirements are stricter than many hills. The page recommends age 5 and up and suggests a minimum height of 46 inches, though our record lists 42.
