Southern Indiana's Arctic Blast tubing area: up to 10 lanes of 700-foot runs, a magic carpet, and 10 PM Friday and Saturday closes.
Loading current conditions…
Paoli Peaks is a southern Indiana ski resort, and its tubing lives in a dedicated area called Arctic Blast, with up to 10 lanes on 700-foot-long slopes. A magic carpet returns riders to the top, so there is no rope to grip on the way up.
The resort lists snowmaking and night tubing, and its hours are broad: Monday to Thursday 3 to 9 PM, Friday 3 to 10 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 10 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM, all weather dependent. That makes it one of the few hills where an after-school session on a weekday is on the table.
What our record lacks is the money and rules side. There are no listed prices, session lengths, minimum ages or heights, or reservation policy, so check the resort’s site before you drive. The resort is in Orange County.
For a different setup, Kentucky Kingdom’s Blizzard Bluff in Louisville is about 54 miles away in a straight line, and it runs as a holiday event with real snow and a 42-inch minimum. Perfect North Slopes is about 96 miles away with 23 lanes. See the night tubing guide for tips.
Saturday from 10 AM or Sunday from 10 AM for daylight runs; Friday and Saturday stay open until 10 PM for night tubing, and weekdays open at 3 PM.
Session length and pricing are not in our record, so confirm when you buy tickets.
You need published prices, height or age limits, or reservation rules before you go: none are in our record. Also skip if you want a morning weekday slot.
Kentucky Kingdom's Blizzard Bluff in Louisville is the closest alternative at about 54 miles straight-line, though it is a seasonal holiday event, and Devine's in Harrodsburg is about 92 miles away.

Current-season dates had not been published when we last checked. It has run: Monday-Thursday 3pm-9pm, Friday 3pm-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm, Sunday 10am-8pm. Check with the park before driving out — tubing seasons shift with the weather.
Pricing was not published when we last checked.
We track 3 tubing hills in Indiana. The park has not published a price, so it cannot be compared on cost — call before you budget.
It runs 10 lanes against a state average of about 17, so it is smaller than most of its neighbours, which can mean longer waits when it is busy.
One caveat worth repeating: this park had not published its current-season dates when we last checked, while 1 of the 3 parks we track in Indiana had. Treat any date you see elsewhere as a prior season's until the park confirms it.
