Our take

Seacoast Adventure is a family attraction park with go-karts, adventure golf and water play in summer, and in winter it turns its property over to a snow park. The season began on December 26 in the version of the schedule our record lists, and it opens Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, plus daily during Maine’s February vacation week.

The ticketing rules are the useful detail. Sessions last two hours and the last run stops 5 minutes before they end. Single tickets are $35 for riders 48 inches and taller, while the $50 combo ticket lets one child of 40 to 47 inches ride with an adult, at a 1:1 ratio. No child under 40 inches is permitted. Only one person may ride per tube, though linking tubes is allowed in designated lanes, and ski boots are banned. A digital waiver is good for the whole season, and tickets per session are limited, so buy online when they post 2 to 3 days ahead.

Thursday student nights run $17.50 for grades K-12. If you want a nearby comparison, King Pine Ski Area is about 32 miles away straight-line and Cranmore Mountain Resort about 35 miles. Our save money guide lists other ways to cut costs.
