Snow tubing for young kids: parks with low age and height minimums
69 of the 229 parks we track publish a minimum age of 4 or younger, or a minimum height of 40 inches or less. Three list a minimum age of 2 or under, and 32 publish a 36-inch height minimum or lower.
What qualifies: Parks that publish a minimum age of 4 or younger, or a minimum height of 40 inches or less, lowest first. Many parks run a separate kids’ hill; always check the current rule before you go.
Minimum age and height rules decide whether a tubing day works for a family with a toddler or preschooler. Of the 229 parks we track, 69 meet the low bar used for this list, and the rules vary widely inside it.
How to use this list
The list is sorted by minimum age, lowest first. Age and height are separate rules, and many parks apply both, so a 3-year-old who is under the height minimum may still be turned away. Check your child’s height against the number before you book.
Some parks run a separate kids’ hill with its own limits, and parks do not always spell out how the youngest riders are handled, so confirm it on the park’s site. Our guides on snow tubing with toddlers and choosing by age cover what to ask, and lift-served parks save small legs a climb.
